Wellness in Medicine
Creating opportunities for welllbeing throughout medical training through storytelling, community panels, and integrative experiences.
During my second year in medical school, I had the opportunity to create “Empty Cup, Full Plate” - a collaborative project discussing the intersections of wellness and medicine. Lesley, Teddy, and I hosted this conversation among our peers to uplift their experiences with wellness and thoughts on its maintenance throughout medical training and beyond. The journey to medicine can be grueling, but I hope this project reminds us all to remember our "why" and not forget to check in on ourselves and others throughout the process. Check it out and let us know what you think. We hope to continue this exploration and find ways to continuously uplift medical trainees and professionals throughout the continuum.
